Situation

Puget Corporation consisted of two business units, an aluminum die caster with operations in Tacoma WA, and a plastic injection molder in Lake Oswego, OR.  The children of the founder were not interested in operating either of the businesses, so a decision was made to sell both companies.

ZS Role

Zachary Scott was engaged to conduct a buyer search and negotiate a sale of both business units.

Result

The cast products division was sold to Pace Industries in an industry consolidation and the plastic injection molding division was sold to Arctic Slope Regional Corporation, one of the Alaska Native Corporations.
