Zachary Scott is pleased to announce the divestiture of Performance Radiator’s Canadian business to Radiator After Market Distribution Operations Inc., (“1-800-Radiator Canada”), a Canada-based 1-800-Radiator & A/C franchisee and portfolio company of Alfar Capital.

This transaction will allow for the consolidation of certain Canadian overlapping Performance Radiator facilities and provide the opportunity for 1-800-Radiator Canada’s geographic expansion.

Situation

Founded in 1987, Performance Radiator is an aftermarket auto parts supplier that distributes radiators, A/C condensers, lamps, and other auto parts from warehouse and branch locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Its customers include body shops, independent repair garages, and parts retailers.

After years of operating in the Canadian market, Performance Radiator made the strategic decision to exit.

Performance Radiator engaged Zachary Scott to conduct a buyer search and negotiate the divestiture of its Canadian business unit.

Results

Zachary Scott conducted a targeted search of logical buyers in the region. The business was subsequently sold to 1-800-Radiator Canada, who operates branches across Canada from a central distribution hub in London, Ontario, and is backed by Montreal-based Alfar Capital. The company is 1-800-Radiator & A/C’s sole franchisee in Canada.
