(“Pental Surfaces” or the “Company”) is one of the largest value-added distributors of natural stone, tile, and engineered quartz products serving the West Coast through five locations. The Company’s products are used in single and multi-family residential housing and in commercial locations for solid surface countertops, wall covers, exterior cladding, and flooring. Privately owned, the Company has been focused on expanding its geographic footprint to the Midwest and East Coast in order to build a national business.

Zachary Scott was engaged by the shareholders of Pental Surfaces to evaluate various strategic business combinations to build out the Company’s national presence.

Results

The merger of Pental Surfaces was consummated with the Dallas, TX-based Architectural Granite and Marble, a portfolio company of Trive Capital.  The merger creates a leading national distributor of interior surfaces with 13 strategic locations in growing markets across the United States.
