Zachary Scott is excited to announce the sale of its client, Globe Machine Manufacturing Company (“Globe” or the “Company”) to Westward Partners (“Westward”). We greatly enjoyed working alongside Fox Rothschild, Moss Adams, Globe’s management team, and the Company’s shareholders on this historic Pacific Northwest transaction.

Founded in 1917, Globe is a custom factory solutions provider of complex process manufacturing equipment. From its headquarters in Tacoma, WA, the Company sells its products and services to a variety of end markets including building products, pulp & paper, and advanced composites. Globe brings a multi-disciplined approach to solving customer challenges including expertise in factory automation, robotics, manufacturing, and integration to provide world-class solutions.

The Company has a five-generation legacy and is owned and operated by the Bamford family. After managing and growing the business since 1966, Calvin “Cal” Bamford decided to search for a buyer that would continue supporting Globe’s customers, employees, and the local community, all while maintaining a celebrated business that has prospered for over a century.

ZS Role

Zachary Scott was engaged by the Bamford family to evaluate ownership transition alternatives and manage the transaction process.

Zachary Scott organized a competitive process to find the right buyer for Globe and its management team and employees. Ultimately, the shareholders chose Westward Partners, a financial investor from Seattle, WA. The Westward team brings deep experience investing and developing companies around the Pacific Northwest. The partnership with Westward will enable management and the Company to continue strong growth while serving existing clients and supporting employees.

This represents another successful outcome for a Pacific Northwest manufacturing business. Other manufacturers who have turned to Zachary Scott for assistance include Thermoforming Systems, Structus Technologies, Nicholson Manufacturing, Bulk Handling Systems, and Marquis Spas.
