I started my career at Seafirst Bank (now, Bank of America), where I met Mark Working and Bill Hanneman. We started Zachary Scott to serve the ownership transition needs of regional families and business owners. We valued our customers and knew they would be best supported by providers who were embedded in the Pacific Northwest.

While I work with business owners in a wide range of industries, I’ve built an expertise in building products, manufacturing, industrial technology, environmental services, and transportation and logistics. I have also served on the board of Parametrix, a transportation planning, engineering and environmental services firm, for over twenty-five years. I earned an MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, and a BS in Economics from Oregon State University, and am a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

What I love about what I do:

I’m happiest when I’m able to learn about something new and this career has certainly delivered on that front. Even within the same industry, there is a tremendous amount of nuance and diving into those differences is exciting. I’m proud of the long-lasting relationships I’ve built; I care deeply about my clients and their success long after the transaction is completed.

Outside the office:

You can find me and my wife Shelley on the tennis courts, ski mountains, or under water. We travel as often as we can to check out new mountains and dive sites, and to spend time with our kids, Elizabeth and Stephanos.
