2027 Summer Investment Banking Intern

Zachary Scott is a boutique investment banking firm located in downtown Seattle, WA. We provide advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and financings of privately held businesses in the middle market. Founded in 1991, our goal is to be a trustworthy partner and advisor for business owners, ensuring every client is cared for as if their business or capital was our own.

We are seeking candidates to join our office for our summer 2027 investment banking internship program. ZS interns undergo robust on-the-job training, including financial statement forecasting and modeling, effective research technique development, due diligence management, and the creation of key work product and materials across the breadth of an advisory engagement. Interns will support a broad range of investment banking activities and will play a supporting role in the execution of live transactions in a variety of industries.

This internship is aimed at students who will graduate in Summer/Winter 2028 due to its advanced technical training. Our curriculum is designed for students who have already completed core accounting and finance coursework and are preparing for full-time analyst roles. If you will be graduating in 2029 and beyond, please stay in touch and keep us in mind as you think about internship opportunities in the future.

ZS interns are entrusted with the same workstreams as full-time analysts, contributing meaningfully to live transactions and outreach from day one. ZS interns work closely with team members of all seniority levels, engaging in social and educational events to further enhance professional development, and gaining the core skills and experience of future investment banking analysts. Consistent with our client-first philosophy, successful ZS interns approach their work with ownership, integrity, and intellectual curiosity. Many ZS interns earn return offers for full-time analyst roles upon graduation through their hard work and skill development.

At Zachary Scott we strive to create a welcoming and caring culture where team members are encouraged to teach, learn, and connect with one another. Our close-knit environment ensures that everyone feels supported and valued, creating a collaborative and inclusive workplace that is ideal for professional growth.
